Support a gift, nominate someone you know, or nominate yourself. All ages are welcome.
We review monthly
We give at least two each month. Sponsorships help us give more. A nomination does not guarantee a gift.
We confirm the fit
We contact the recipient, or a parent or guardian, to confirm fit before shipping and share an individualized timing estimate.

The Buddy System
Our mission is to bring more independence to everyday life. In keeping with that mission, we now donate at least two ZipperBuddys every month to people who need one but cannot afford it, regardless of sponsorships. Now you can help us reach more buddies! Sponsor a ZipperBuddy, or nominate yourself or someone you know. All ages, stages and abilities are welcome. It is about choice, dignity and wearing the jackets you love.
No home address or medical details are needed here. Please get permission before sharing another person’s contact details; for a child, use a parent or guardian’s contact information.
A few things to know
U.S. recipients for now
Nominations from outside the U.S. join a waitlist for future expansion. There is no promised expansion date.
No need to reapply
Nominations that are not selected remain in consideration automatically.
Timing is personal
We confirm the recipient’s fit first, then provide an individualized estimated timeline.
Permission comes first
We contact the recipient or a parent or guardian before anything ships. Names and photos are not shared without permission.
